Alle Herrlichkeit auf Erden.

Based upon ‘the wind - up Bird Chronicle’ (Aufzieh-Vogel) by Haruki Murakami,

this installation can be seen as a background story, much like a theatre back drop.

The ‘story’ deals mainly with what is regarded as normal -Domesticity, annual Holidays in the sun, marriage. In general, Security.

All of this is underpinned by the big colourful bird in the ‘Forest’. This bird symbolizes all that is beautiful and magical but can seem to be unattainable.
